I saw a decal clad turbo diesel Pajero which seemed to be in rather good shape the other day. Thought about taking a photo but didn’t.

Out of curiosity, when you run the CarFax it comes back as a Land Cruiser GX. What’s the deal with the GX? I know they came in trims like that in most other markets but I figured in the US it was just the one trim.

GX was a trim level, also VX and Sahara. Think of them like TRD, SR5 and Limited. The GX ones were the ones people bought for wheeling because they usually came ready to rock.
